Energy Information Administration (EIA) will not release its annual energy outlook in 2024 as it makes changes to its forecasting capabilities, the agency said Wednesday. In its report on the Short-Term Energy Outlook for 2025, the agency forecasts that Alaska's crude oil production will rise "16,000 barrels a day (bbl/d), to 438,000 bbl/d in 2026 after remaining relatively flat during 2025."
